Jon Bon Jovi is about to become one of SoHo's newest residents after finally signing a contract to buy a "trophy penthouse" at the New Museum building on Mercer Street for $26 million. Three weeks ago, this column reported that the New Jersey crooner was in negotiations for the 10-room, 7,400-square-foot duplex loft. We're told he got it for a half million less than the asking price, after outbidding a billionaire businessman from California.
