Reality TV star and former model Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead Thursday after being taken to a Florida hospital, a law enforcement source told CNN. Smith, 39, collapsed at a south Florida hotel, according to news reports.

(February 8, 2007) -- Former "Playboy" Playmate and reality TV show personality Anna Nicole Smith is dead at the age of 39. She collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida Thursday. All attempts to revive Smith failed. Here is a timeline of Anna Nicole Smith's life.
1967 --
Anna Nicole was born Vickie Lynn Hogan in Houston, Texas on November 28th.
1969 --
Anna Nicole's parents got divorced. She spent the rest of her childhood being raised by her mother and her maternal aunt.
1985 --
At the age of 17, Anna Nicole married 16-year-old fry cook Billy Wayne Smith.
1986 --
Anna Nicole gave birth to a son named Daniel Wayne Smith.
1992 --
Anna Nicole first appeared on "Playboy's" cover in March. Just two months later, she got her first "Playboy" centerfold. She was using the name Vickie Smith at the time.
1993 --
After being separated for six years, Anna Nicole and Billy Wayne Smith officially divorced. During that year, she was chosen as "Playboy's" Playmate of the Year. She also chose the name Anna Nicole Smith.
1994 --
Anna Nicole married 89-year-old oil billionaire J. Howard Marshall. She was 26 at the time.
